Trevor Nelson
Project Superintendent
I was born and raised on the Central Coast of California near San Luis Obispo. I started working in construction during High School cleaning up job sites and began framing soon after graduation. While in California I worked for many different types of trades. I moved up to Portland around 2016 and worked for a firm that focused on litigation/mitigation work correcting mistakes or failing envelope systems. I was the Site Foreman on a large garden style project in which we had to remove all the siding and reflash all the windows, along with any/all other remediations needed. After that I worked as an Assistant Superintendent building a hotel in Beaverton. Soon after the project was finished I moved to Eugene, and worked as an Assistant Superintendent, and eventually as a Superintendent on a large multifamily project. I’m happy to have joined the Essex team as a Project Superintendent.
I’m married to Stephanie, and we’ve got a silver lab named Brock. When I’m not working, I enjoy almost everything ending in ‘ing’ that takes place outdoors. Think fishing, hiking, boating, snowboarding. You name it. If I’m not working on my house, I’m outdoors doing something fun.
